Can I appeal if the court or the jury misunderstood the facts?
In most cases, an appeal is not about the facts of the case. An appeal asks a higher court to determine if the trial judge applied the law correctly. An appeal does not allow you to try your case again or present new evidence. There are no witnesses, no testimony and no jury.
